Old House And New House
There was an old man. That old man was living in a very old, shabby house. He was born in this house and lived in this house throughout his entire life, for seventy years.
One day, somebody called him. The voice over the phone said, “If you leave the old house in which you are living, I will give you a new house.
If you live in the new house, you will be much happier, you will enjoy infinite joy, and also you can live forever.” He also added, “Please trust what I am saying and I beg you to leave your house right now.”
The old man lost his temper and got mad. He yelled at the phone, “I have been living in this house for all my life, and I am already used to this house. I will definitely die at this house.” He then hung up.
Soon after, the old man met his solitary death alone.
This story is your story. If you are given an opportunity to throw away the self that is false, which you have at the moment, and to have the true self that never dies eternally, what would you do? Would you be stubborn like the old man and meet the eternal death with the false self that you are already used to? Or, would you change to the true self of the universe mind that is eternally living, and live forever as the true self, with infinite joy and happiness?
You are now at the crossroads, at the moment.

The Reason And Purpose Of Human Life
Science tells us that originally hot gases of the original universe exploded and fiery clusters of matter formed; some cooled into stars and others into planets. One religion says that the universe was created by the word of God, and another says that the universe came forth on its own. These theories all seem to be different, but they are actually the same.
The world of God is ‘logos,’ reason, and original nature. It is the sky before the sky, Truth, the Creator of the universe, and the soul and spirit from which every creation in the universe came forth. Humans cannot see it with their eyes, and because of this, there are those who are atheists.
Not long ago, there was a tsunami that hit Southeast Asia and took the lives of many. But even though humans disappear, the universe remains as it is. Imagine this earth disappears; the sky, which is the universe, will remain as it is. Even though all celestial bodies disappear; the sky will still exist. When human minds become the sky, man will be able to see the Creator and know with wisdom that everything in the universe is created by the Creator. When one’s mind is cleansed and he is reborn as the mind of the Creator, he will know the Creator because he will know as much as he has in his mind.
For sure, the Creator – the soul and spirit of Truth – created everything in the universe. Therefore, everything in the universe is inevitably a child of the Creator because the Creator made it. However, when humans have difficulties they question the purpose of their pain and burden saying, “If the omnipotent, omniscient Creator exists and humans were created as complete, then shouldn’t the Creator have created humans without pain and burden?”
During the age of growth in the universe, the human population increased because of mankind’s greed, so wouldn’t it be wise to harvest when the human population has reached its peak on this Earth? Though the Creator has no will, this is the will of the Creator.
The kingdom of the Creator has always been complete, and in it all are living. But only humans cannot become one with Truth because of their sins. This is because they have a self-centered selfish mind, which exists for their body’s comfort and splendor. This is sin and karma. Because they have possessiveness in their minds and are bound to themselves, they are unable to become one with Truth, the original master. Their minds are trapped in their tombs, which is death. You will meet Truth when your body and mind – your self – is cleansed. You must be born again as that which is beyond your own existence, as Truth, in order to be a child of Truth. You will live in the eternal, never-dying, living kingdom of Truth.
Truth is the living, never-dying existence. When you are completed, when you are Truth in this universe, you will live forever because you have become Truth while living. You will live forever only when you go to the kingdom of Truth while you are alive. Now is the time when people become Truth – the age of fruition. There is nothing higher than Truth; there is nothing more perfect than Truth; there is nothing beyond Truth. Even though different religions have different terminology for Truth, what religion seeks is this existence, perfect Truth. To become Truth is to become a complete person; it is the only way to live forever.
The reason and purpose why humans live is to become Truth and live in the kingdom of Truth forever. One who does not become Truth during this age of fruition will die.
